During his 23-year big league career, Tony Gwynn was one of the game's elite hitters and a strong outfielder. He was named an All Star 13 times and won five Gold Glove awards.
Gwynn hit .331 with 3,121 hits, 141 home runs, 1,149 RBI, and scored 1,401 runs. He hit .300 or better 18 straight seasons (1983-2000) and had a 22-game hitting streak in 1995 with San Diego.
