Yankees won 26 in around 75 years leading up to 2000, so your 22 in 95 years is close.

I sim week to week, and play all playoff games so I get about 15 seasons in a year played out between versions then start over. my best was 4 series in 15 years, with a ton of other playoff defeats in those 15 years.

I use a salary cap that keeps my team from becoming an all-star squad though.
