I'm not exactly sure what the Anti-Virus software might be doing, but sometimes they interfere with the game. The fact that it's a work laptop presents another complication, as we don't know exactly what they might have thrown on there to muck things up.

When you wrote that you have plenty of other software on there, does that include games? If so, which ones? Anything else with eLicense software involved?
