I grow tired of this. I never mentioned application code, not one time. Only you did. I never said there wasn't BUG FREE CODE, just not BUG FREE SOFTWARE in general. It was a generalized statement about the state of the software industry, not individual lines in files with semi-colons at the end of them. You are too nitty gritty with this. Hello world programs are bug free programs, but again, there could still be problems unknown to you by the compiler, the OS and how it prints things to the screen, a DLL that was added in causing memory problems, and a whole slew of other things. Sure, code can be mathmatically proved to be correct, but what about the editor it was coded on? What about the libraries it uses?
*sigh* I am not going to convince you, and you are not going to convince me. I resent "fantasy land" and "egghead" comments, something I didn't do to you not once, but I think we should agree to disagree and get on with our lives.
