I don't care if OOTP models this detail of MLB scoring correctly or not, because I don't judge my OOTP pitchers on their W/L record anyway.

I'm sorry, at what point did I say I judged the pitching staff by win-loss record? Since I wrote this they have all gone south faster than birds in the winter, so I just throw anyone in and hope something goes well.
I only asked if the game could ever make the ruling or not, and I found out it can't for whatever reason.
I'll keep it to myself in future.
