Frisch was traded 3 times in the HOB2 although the first 2 were teams unloading him in his free agent season.
Frankie Frisch
Frisch has developed into a solid hitter but has not become a homerun threat at all. He had two big homer years in 1929 and 1930 but so did half the league as the offensive was so dominant those two seasons.
His biggest claim to fame is the 8 World Series he has played in so far, including 1927 when he was named the Series MVP. His postseason achievements are discussed in this thread:

Frisch was drafted 11th overall by Brooklyn in 1919 and after a year and a half seasoning with AAA Montreal he was ready for the majors. He played all 6 postseason games for the Dodgers in 1920 and was also a key factor in Brooklyn pennants in 1922,23 and 24. He signed with Cincinnati as a free agent following the 1924 campaign and made his first allstar appearance in 1925. The Reds dealt him to the Cubs for outfielder Eddie Murphy (who hit .308 in his 20 year and counting career) in July of 1926. Frisch helped the Cubs to pennants in 1926 and 1927.
He signed with the White Sox following his MVP performance in the 1927 series but by 1930 he was back in the National League. The White Sox sent him to Pittsburgh in July of 1929 for rookie outfielder Johnny Frederick (who would win rookie of the year that season but has tailed off since a trade to the Red Sox). In 1930, the Pirates moved Frisch to the Phillies in a move that may have cost the Pirates the pennant and certainly won it for the Phillies. See my 1930 thread for more on this

After helping the Phillies to the 1930 pennant Frisch had a memorable game 6 of the World Series against the White Sox. He set World Series single game records with 3 homers and 8 rbi's in a 13-10 Philadelphia win that tied the series. The Phillies lost game 7 however.
Frisch then moved on to the Yankees as a free agent where he still resides. In 1933, Babe Ruth joined the Yanks as a free agent pickup and the Frisch luck rubbed off on the Bambino, getting Babe his first World Series ring. Frisch is 35 as the 1933 season comes to an end. He has one more year left in his contract with the Yankees.
