As TBCB is otherwise not-playable for me (in my UNI) since purchasing 2.5 -

I've tested it, and fast simmed bouts will select cover up as a strategy and the fighter will use it based on their skill in covering up even when computer strategies are not allowed. This shows up in the summary report after autoscheduled bouts are simmed. So you don't need to watch each and every fight to ensure boxers are using cover up in the appropriate situation.
