I would have to agree that posting a link to FOFC may be a little out of the norm, it does seem very curious that Markus often seems to be more responsive to questions that they (FOFC) pose and tends to offer insights that are nowhere to be found on this board (such as the one in the link). I think it is very clear why. It is because while this MAY be the "official board of OOTP", the people here do not have the same kind of insight and intelligent discourse as those on FOFC. Many of the people here at times remind me of being somewhat "kiddish" for lack of a better term.
