Wow. I can't figure out who it could be. Ray Knight? He is the former player in the MASN stable for the Nats. Knight would quailify for the "terrible voice" description.
I'm a big fan of Bob Carpenter. He was a solid pro's pro when he did the Cardinals local network stuff. Sutton isn't awful. Not my favorite, but not awful by any means.
