It's time to play ball and decide who will face the Red Sox in the World Series. We have the momentum on our side after the Mets failed to eliminate us twice. Sadly our starter Capuano is not 100 % rested, but I feel it's better to start him compared to Gallardo or Villanueva. The Mets will once again send Maine to the battle. He isn't 100 % rested either... In terms of offense we stick to the old Badenian football saying "never change a winning team"!

Game 7 was epic. We took an early 3-0 lead thanks to a Fielder homerun. But the Mets quickly mashed Capuano and were up 7-4 after three innings. Maine seemed to cruise to victory, but Fielder hit another homer in the eighth making it 8-6 for the Mets. Wagner came on to close it out and our hopes to tie the game were small, until Izturis hit a two out triple to make it 8-7. Hopes were high as Gross who hit .364 in the postseason came to the plate, but he went down looking ...
