The challenge I'm pondering for a dynasty story (obviously a very long term story) is to try and match or better the Yanks 26 World Championships and 39 AL Pennants ... also have the short-term goals of beating the Yanks yearly season record as well as seeing if each manager can match or better his real-life record while directing the club for a set number of years ...
anyways, I started in 1903, and am pretty woeful with the original Highlanders (we started 8-24 in year one). Even after some trades, we're well below .500 in mid-summer... pitching is terrible aside from Jess Tannehill...
