Trades:
The White Sox sent minor league 3B Danny Richar (.299, 13 HR, 48 RBI - AAA) and minor league 3B Will Richardson (.283, 2 HR, 26 RBI - A) to the Pirates for starter Sean Burnett (8-6, 3.27 ERA) and minor league starter José Guerrero (1-4, 6.58 ERA).
The Rangers traded LF Jason Botts (.249, 15 HR, 50 RBI) and minor league SS German Duran (.247, 7 HR, 53 RBI - AAA) to the Angels for starter Scott Baker (15-8, 4.10 ERA) and minor league LF Arturo Pena (.322, 2 HR, 15 RBI - R).
