-Cubs pitcher Ryan Dempster will miss 6 weeks after fracturing his wrist while getting mugged on a subway.
CONTRACT EXTENSION
-The Mariners have reached an agreement on a 5-year extension with Kenji Johjima. Terms were not disclosed.
