I'd be very interested to read the details of the U Mass study where they concluded ash and maple generated the same ball speed. This had to have been tested many times. isn't that enough to convince players? I know players are very superstituous but if the result is the same the MLBPA and MLB need to come to an agreement before someone really does get critically injured.
