The winninge club shall get a feast hosted by Barmy Bill, the London Palace court jester.
Interclub
-------------
Aidan Nance (Scotland) 6-1-0 (1) def. Quincy Beardall (Wales) 5-2-0 (3) by decision
This fight ended early when Nance headbutted Beardall. A striking blow, as Nance was easily leading the battle at that point.
Scotland 1, Wales -1
Fraser Purdy (London) 7-8-0 (2) def. Archer Rebow (York) 12-4-0 (6) by decision
Hath Purdy found some of that magic that the Old London Crown bestows? We cannot find any other way to explain the victory over the heavily favored Rebow.
Scotland 1, London 1, York -1, Wales -1
Spencer Sefton (London) 13-3-2 (7) def. Douggie Drabble (Wales) 5-1-1 (4) by TKO(7)
The youngster from Cardiff was just no match for the veteran Sefton. Drabble went down seven times. That's enough to make one sleepy just thinking about it.
London 3, Scotland 1, York -1, Wales -3
Brad Sewell (London) 12-1-0 (9) def. Lester Beardall (Wales) 3-3-1 by KO(2)
Beardall actually made this one look close, knocking down Sewell twice in the first.
London 5, Scotland 1, York -1, Wales -5
Leo Ayling (London) 10-4-0 (6) def. Ethelstamp Woodger 6-6-0 (2) by decision
This close, hard-fought victory will also allow Ayling to move up into the regionals.
London 6, Scotland 1, York -2, Wales -5
Kai Gordon (Scotland) 8-1-0 (2) def. Dean Milledge (London) 9-4-1 (3) by decision.
Gordon, an outside fighter, does not fit the Scottish stereotype, but did enough to stay Milledge's journey into the regionals for at least another couple months.
London 5, Scotland 2, York -2, Wales -5
Howard Smith (London) 10-2-0 (5) def. Ryan MacBrayne (Scotland) 2-10-1 (1) by decision
MacBrayne doesn't go down so easily but that's about all the good that can be said about this so-called Highlander.
London 7, Scotland 0, York -2, Wales -5
King Henry (London) 10-0-0 (9) def. Gael Tunstall (York) 4-5-0 (2) by TKO(4)
Now this just wasn't fair. The good news is, now King Henry can move up to the regionals as well.
London 9, Scotland 0, York -4, Wales -5
John Johnson (London) 4-10-0 (2) def. Hapye Gayford (York) 2-13-0 (2) by KO(2)
Johnson has no punch but Gayford has no chin. The chin lost.
London 11, Scotland 0, Wales -5, York -6
Rob Tregear (London) 4-11-0 (1) def. Murray Smith (Scotland) 3-5-0 (1) by KO(2)
It seems as though the Lord is on our side this month! Even our trial horses are beating their gatekeepers!
London 13, Scotland -2, Wales -5, York -6
Craig MacLaine (Scotland) 7-1-0 (4) def. Jake Edison 5-3-1 (4) by decision
Finally, somebody is able to defeat a Londoner!
London 12, Scotland -1, Wales -5, York -6
Dwayne Copeman (London) 4-8-1 (3) def. Aiden MacBean (Scotland) 6-2-0 (6) by KO(5)
MacBean learns the hard way to watch out for Copeman's right hand.
London 14, Scotland -3, Wales -5, York -6
Alex MacKinley (Scotland) 5-0-1 (2) drew George Freke (London) 1-7-1
Is London really that much better than everyone else?
London 14, Scotland -3, Wales -5, York -6
Ron Strode (London) 5-3-0 (4) def. Petrus Turgoose (YorK) 1-6-0 (1) by KO(7)
Turgoose was winning this one easily when he went down. Another victory for foggy old London Town.
London 16, Scotland -3, Wales -5, York -8
Immin Northumbria (York) 4-1-1 (3) def. Joseph Saint Mary (London) 2-5-0 by KO(1)
Saint Mary looked otherwise occupied in this, the final fight of the month. Ah well. It didn't really mean anything.
London 14, Scotland -3, Wales -5, York -6

Hey, somebody insult me publicly so I can replace ForemanFan's missive!
"You're a guileless, witless puke. I'd like to say that that makes us even, but, alas, nothing ever will. Thank Heavens!"
