I just purchased OOTP 8.0 a few hours ago and I have been playing with it. I looked around, started my own league and I am the proud Manager of the Mississippi Braves. Anyway, it is Opening Day and I am getting ready to play my first game and...CRASH...

The game keeps crashing after the 2nd or 3rd inning of my very first game. This is a new thing for me because my computer has never really crashed before. So what is wrong? After reading so many good things about this game I guess I just don't believe it is this unstable.

I am running version 8.13, at least that is what it says on the opening screen. My computer runs Windows XP, I have 14 GB of hard drive space free. I have about 1 GB of RAM. I am really confused...please help. I want to like this game!
