Couple of things while we're waiting for the last 2 rosters to be submitted.
Roster numbers, 22 have been turned in, there are 73 duplicate picks involving only 34 fighters.
I've been working on the aging........see what you guys think.
The numbers:- Step up to Pre-Prime......6 - 10 (fighters will reach pre-prime by the half way point of a season guaranteed)
- Step up to Prime......20 - 35 (fighters will reach Prime around 1 1/2 seasons or at the most, 2 seasons)
- Step up to Post-Prime......90 - 144 (A fighter will fight at Prime for at least 4 1/2 seasons to 7 seasons)
- Step up to End......20 - 40
- Step up to Retired......10 - 20
(
The info listed above in the parentheses is based on regular season play only. It will happen much quicker if a fighter fights in the year-end individual tournament & team playoffs)
With this aging schedule, a fighter will have a career of 146 fights to a maximum of around 270. This translates into 6.8 seasons to 11.9 seasons of service if a fighter only fights during the regular season and has no post season exposure.
A fighter that participates in all post season tournaments during his career along with the regular season, his time of service in the league will be 4 to 7 seasons.
