World Series Game Six:

Standing on the brink of their third championship in the last three seasons, the Pirates looked to take control of Game Six early .With two outs in the first inning,
Javier Rael blasted a solo homerun. The 1-0 lead lasted until the fourth inning, when Miami's
Edmond McGurk belted a 2-run homer. The Dolphins lead, 2-1. In the fifth inning, however,
James Sequeira delivered a 2-run single, and
Robert Able followed with a 2-run double. The Pirates led, 5-2.
McGurk hammered another two run homerun in the sixth inning, cutting the lead to 5-4. The Dolphins would not get any closer, however. With runners on first and second in the ninth inning,
Aaron Shorts hit into a game, and series, ending double play.

Call it a split decision between Pittsburgh's
Aaron Quijada and Miami's
Edmond McGurk, with an honorable mention to Pittsburgh's
James Sequeira.
