one thing ive done is set the MLB minimum age to 18. it helps a little at least. otherwise i havent found a good method for keeping them in the minors. what ive done is knock their current ratings down manually (keeping the potential intact) so at least for the current year theyre not playing over their heads so to speak. a better way, albeit more time consuming, would be to actually edit the DB yourself before you import the league and decrease their batting and pitching stats for the first year or two. i havent tried this method; i suspect it would be a lot of trial and error to get that right.
