Well, I play in a Baseball Mogul 2008 league and honestly it seems like no one had ever heard of OOTP when I mentioned it. I know Mogul is a far easier/inferior game but a lot of members of this league are hardcore baseball fanatics and read Baseball Prospectus, Bill James, etc.
I convinced about 5 people in that league to pre-order OOTP9 and join me in creating a historical league. I was just kind of shocked no one was familiar with it though. Something needs to be done to get the word out!
