Joseph Ebbs KO'd by Jack Ford 1825-02-26 5 shillings a side, 30 minutes Gate Public House, Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire. Called a grudge fight under prize ring rules Ebbs died. Ford was guilty of excessive head-butting throughout. Ford's last bout. He began in 1811.
