MLBIV 1981 season has 3 openings
MLBIV ( mlibiv.com ) now has 3 openings for the 1981 season . We are about at the all star break and need to fill 3 teams .
Boston Redsox (36-43 ) - Last seasons league winner needs very little to get back into shape . The still have the great outfield of ; Jim Rice , Fred Lynn and Dwight Evans . They have a very good starting pitching lead by : Dennis Eckersley , John Tudor and Bruce Hurst .
Oakland A's ( 49-35 first place in the West ) - A young team that is reaching its potential . Lead by speedsters Ricky Henderson and Miguel Dilone they are scoring alot of runs . They have a very young pitching staff lead by : Tim Leary , Mike Norris and shutdown closer in Dave Beard .
St Louis Cardinals ( 49 -31 first in the wildcard race ) - This team can Hit !! Lead by : Garry Templeton , Keith Hernandez , Ted Simmons and George Hendrick . Their pitching is lead by Bob Forsch and closer Mark Littel .
The league has real rookies and we also have a college league and high school leagues that we also have rookies from . We have a winter league and 4 minor leagues . This league is alot of fun and have a real good group of guys .
