I agree high rated players should not go unsigned. I am sure someone will site Barry Bonds this year, but I believe he is not being pursued because teams have determined (rightly so IMO) that he isn't worth all the extra hassle anymore. It was one thing to put up with all of his extra BS when he was a perennial MVP candidate, now that he is only moderately better, not so much.
I have not seen this happen in most of my leagues, but I think a lot of it depends on the roster set you are using.

Is Dunn (or the others) better than the AI teams other options? You have obviously determined he is not worth it for your team, when you look at the other teams, if you were there owner would you be offering him?
