May 2009 - Milwaukee Brewers
Manager and GM Fritsche

8th May 2009

The Diamondbacks signed pitcher Oliver Perez (1-0, 4.76 ERA) to a two year contract worth $11,920,000.

Ouch! The Mets kicked once again our ass. Two of the losses were only by one run, which came very late in the game. In the other loss Rosario gave up nine runs in the first two innings. Now we are off to Philadelphia, where we expect solid starts by Gallardo and Capuano. Hopefully Aaron Cook will have a good first start as well. At the moment we carry two closers, but if Fujita is as dominant as last season, Gagné might get another role. At the moment six (!) AAA Nashville regulars are batting well over .300. Some roster moves are therefore likely to come.
