I'm working on a test that could serve as a workaround, and also get those high schoolers into college. I've set up a college league, with no financials, and the age limits set. I have a high school feeder league for the college league. When the players "graduate" from college, they should, in theory, show up in the free agent pool.

There are two things I have to keep in mind.
1) I need to make the high school feeder league larger than the college league, otherwise the college league will undoubtedly run out of players.
2) The college league does have some players who are older than the age limit, because the age limit is only checked in the offseason. I can live with that, but I don't know why they just can't be prevented from entering the league in the first place....
