I don't remember when I saw him probably as filler on the March card with Andy Lee. But that is his 4th straight decision win so I'm questioning his power now.

I haven't tried to prop him up at all, he's a 22-year old who can have a future in the sport. I think I've given him the proper credit and no more.
There are 1091 active featherweights, so the cutoff for the 85th percentile is No. 165, the 80th percentile is 218. In a totally dispassionate analysis, I'd say the two guys he beat are somewhere in that neighborhood.
But, I don't think Matt is No. 49, that's probably too high. To me, you have to prove you're as good as a Top 50 guy to be in the Top 50 and he hasn't done that yet. Thus, the call to fight a Top 100 guy, which I'd hope would happen in the next year and then we'll know more.
