When I checked my RAM the PC says I have 248 meg (don't know how it figured 248 unless there is some built on to the mainboard)
My question is, is there any way to get around the 256 RAM requirement for install and if there is, would it be playable?
Again I realize there is little hope for this but maybe you guys know of something. I am able to play on my desktop, but would like it on my old laptop as well.

Thanks in advance.
Hey rewc27,

Hmmm. I'm sure there are people around here who can help finagle something, but frankly, I suspect the performance will be unbearably slow, and of course we wouldn't be able to support you officially.

There's no way for us to lower the limit to load the program, so I think you're going to have to figure out some way to raise that RAM number.

I'm not sure what your hardware situation is now, but I honestly suspect there is a way to buy used RAM for your laptop on the internet for very small amounts of money...
