Yeah, just like 99 percent of the televangelists out there. I dont think that nothing irks me more than a hypocrite. While I admire Holyfield as a fighter,he used to rip into people for their "sinful" ways and such all the while..well,ya know. Anyway,he was a tough fighter for sure but the steroid issues is something that is a definite possibility. Man,watching his fights as a youth and comparing them to his heavyweight days..whew. Of course,we all get that spread that comes with age but he packed on some serious muscle. The idiot sportswriters have been saying that boxing is dead for 25 years or more now. Boxing will be around when all the other fads are gone. I like UFC and such, but to me boxing is the king of all fighting sports..always has..always will. Yeah, the heavyweights are down for sure right now. However,we are long overdue for a heavyweight star and you never know who will come along and capture the imagination of the public. The guys we have calling themselves champion at the heavyweight division are all seriously flawed..from weak chin,no defense to just mediocre talent. Boxing still has a lot of good young fighters, especially from 140-168 pounds. Tons of guys with talent and potential and several young prospects that look good as well. Yeah,I think boxing is struggling and the relative new kid on the block(MMA)is getting the attention, however,it all goes in cycles. I think Boxing will be around when all of us are gone. Take care fellas.
