Western League North Sea Division Preview
March 28th 1981 - With play in the EBL due to start in just a couple of days it is time to look at each of the franchises and how we think they might fair in this inaugural season. We will start with the WL North Sea Division teams.
Glasgow Stallions
AAA: Stoke Gangsters (BBL NL West)
AA: Dunkirk Daggers (FBL North)
A: Brescia Otters (IBL North)
R: Kiev Skeletons (ERBL EL North)
Best Hitter: LF Constantino Deodato (ITA) - The first round pick is a standout in a pretty deep lineup.
Best Pitcher: RP Clement Mounier (FRA)
Homegrown Talent: 3B Michael MacKinnon - A young star
Star of the Future: 3B Arend Madsen (DEN)
London Crocs
AAA: Plymouth Lycanthropes (BBL SL West)
AA: Calais Brights (FBL North)
A: Alicante Miracle (SBL South)
R: Minsk Volts (ERBL EL North)
Best Hitter: 1B Liam MacFie (SCO)
Best Pitcher: SP Wilburt Sammer (GER) - Not an overly impressive bunch.
Homegrown Talent: CF Marcus Walker
Star of the Future: RF Lyndon Foale (ENG)
Paris Cyclones
AAA: Bristol Black Aces (BBL SL West)
AA: Lille Pit Bulls (FBL North)
A: Seville Peacocks (SBL South)
R: Vilnius Birds (ERBL EL North)
Best Hitter: LF Florian Martin (FRA)
Best Pitcher: SP Malcolm Kennedy (IRL) - The #1 pick overall, so has a lot to live up to. Closer Tolentino White is also very good.
Homegrown Talent: Martin - Also got 2B Khalid Alves.
Star of the Future: 3B Abel Salminen (POR) - Already in the EBL, but has a lot of room to grow.

Division Prediction
After getting lucky by obtaining the #1 pick Paris look to be the favourites, with Glasgow also performing well.
