World Series, Game 2
Royal Canadians 6, London 1
When the Monarchs put up a run in the first, it looked like they were going to win their 6th straight playoff game. But the Mounted Baseballists had other ideas and ended up knocking London's 18-game winner Freddie Turvill out of the box in the 6th. The baleful spectre of the error again came to haunt London, as miscues by 1B George Green and C David Mallam were directly responsible for prolonging the Canadians' 4-run 4th inning.
RF Byron Feveryear was forced to leave the game with a sore arm. It is not known whether he'll be able to play again in the Series.
