The "Open in External Browser" feature is not working on some PC's. I have no idea how common this is, but it is happening to me as well. It may even be fairly common but since many people might not use this feature there may not be a flood of replies.
Q: Is it happening on specific screens?
A: It is happening on every screen I have tried it on so I doubt it is specific screens. I have tried it on at least 30 different types of game screens.
Q: What happens when you press the "Open in External Browser" button?
A: The first time I try it there is a short burst of hard drive thrashing, then the following times I try it it feels like the command is ignored (no HD sounds).
Q: Did the feature work for you in OOTP 2007/OOTP8?
A: Yes, and I still use the 'open in External Browser' feature frequently in OOTP 2007, it's always worked and still works with that game. Others in this thread say the same thing about the feature working in OOTP8, but not in OOTP9.
Q: Are you using a firewall or pop up blocker?
A: Using Google pop up blocker and WinXP firewall.
