A couple of extra points to the above.
- You can actually use the foreign player limit differently. My understanding how it works is as per the following table (the first 3 columns are the settings, the next three columns are the results) -
| Foreign Players Limit | Foreign Pitcher Limit | Foreign Hitter Limit |
| Max Total Foreigners | Max Foreign Pitchers | Max Foreign Hitters |
| 10 | 10 | 10 |
| 20 | 10 | 10 |
| 10 | 8 | 7 |
| 15 | 8 | 7 |
| 10 | 10 | No Limit |
| 10 | 10 | 10 |
| 10 | No Limit | 10 |
| 10 | 10 | 10 |
| 10 | No Limit | 6 |
| 10 | 10 | 6 |
| 10 | 6 | No Limit |
| 10 | 6 | 10 |
I've never actually played a game with the settings as per the bottom 4, so I don't know how smart the AI is at using up it's quota. I would hope that each team would have different numbers of foreign hitters and pitchers, but I think there is a chance that every team in the league will simply have 10 foreign pitchers and no hitters (or vice versa).- I've created a quickstart of the EBL with new fictional players and all the unis, logos. If anyone is interested, send me a private message with your Email address and I'll send it along.
