I have no clue what you guys are discussing here with the ratios, etc. Boggles the mind and I guess I am too new here to figure it out. All I wanted to do here was to thank Sky Dog for a great league. I never use the draft....I hate a draft, any kind of draft, so I just picked a team without looking at its roster and started playing the game. Well, I have spent a lot of time creating new uniforms for all of the major league and AAA teams. This league is great and is running very well. The only thing I have noticed and perhaps I can change the settings for that (I still haven't really figured out how to make all of the settings for the AI of this game, but I will get there) anyway, as I was saying, the only thing that I see is that there are a tremendous amount of designated hitters put into each game. That is not very realistic at all. I also had my pitcher, who was tired and needing to come out, and did come out the next inning but he was left in to hit for himself in the inning before when he should have been lifted for a PH....so a different problem here with the DH!!! But other than that, this league is playing very well and very competitively.
So, that being said, and sorry to jump in here when you guys are discussing another topic, I like the league very much and I want to thank you Sky Dog for creating it for people like me who just want to jump in and have some fun with baseball. I play out all of my games, unlike you and many of the others here so my stats overall are probably going to be different, at least for my team and my league. I am not a stats person....I just love the game of baseball for itself. I never keep track of any stats in this game. I could care less. The important thing to me is that the game is realistic and the teams are competitive, and so far it seems to be doing well at that.

Ok, blabbered on long enough. Once I get all of the uniforms the way I want them, I will post them here for all to see. Again, thanks for a great league. Enjoying the heck out of it and getting absolutely nothing else done....like doing the dishes or cleaning the place...Sad, but hey, I never get anyone here anyway so I don't care. Baseball rules!! OOTP may have a few problems (and what game doesn't) but overall, I love this game and it works for me. Now if we could just get in game announcing, like the old Ernie Harwell kind of thing going here with OOTP, this would be the perfect game!!
