Well, good for you. And it doesn't matter how long you have been a Red Sox fan, just as long as you are one! I bet you have been glad to see all of the Japanese players that are now in major league uniforms. I think it is very good for our game here. And of course the Sox have a couple of really good pitchers from there now too. Oh yeah, I have seen many players come and go at Fenway. I have seen many a year when they made it until the final game only to have people like Bucky Dent ruin their chances. Bucky Dent....give me a break! I just had to mention that so our Yankee friend wouldn't feel left out of the conversation.
I have been to Japan a number of times. I was only six the first time when my father was stationed there in the army, and then I was stationed there back in the early seventies. I have also been over there a couple of times since then, in the nineties just to visit. I love your country and its people a great deal. Your baseball is interesting there as well. I also was in Korea for a while and watched their baseball a lot. A totally different kind of game you play there in Asia, but I enjoyed it a lot.
Anyway, nice to meet you Myasu. Any friend of the Red Sox is a friend of mine. We suffered for so many years that it was so sweet when we started to be taken seriously.
