I'm sorry about this. I'm not sure why you had to have a CD made. The new executable alone is only 8 MB, which should be manageable even with dialup, especially if you use a free download manager, which could also help prevent corruption of downloaded files. We largely made just the executable available precisely to aid dial-up customers like yourself.
I apologize, I'm not trying to be flippant here, but I'm not quite certain what you're asking for. Unfortunately, in this day and age, digital distribution of patches is the standard for practically every software product. For example, if Civilization or Microsoft Word comes out with a patch, they don't ship out new CDs.
