1984 Preview
March 31st 1984 - Again there was not a lot of player movement in the off-season. Some teams have started sigining long term contracts with their star players, rather than let them go through arbitration.
Milan look to be the class of the league again after 204 wins in two seasons, but Amsterdam looked good last year and they have added former Rookie of the Year, Bernd Vonschroeder, who hit 25 home runs last year.
Stockholm will miss Robert 'Razor' Wood for the first half of the season. The 1981 and 1983 EL Pitcher of the Year and the EBL's current all-time leader in wins has a badly scolded pitching hand from a domestic accident.
