Notes -

Paris and Moscow both fell away gradually over the second half of the season.
Oslo and Helsinki played 14 scoreless innings on 26th July. Helsinki won 2-1 in 15.
London scored 11 in an inning in a 13-5 win against Paris on 22nd August. The Cyclones got their revenge the next day, when they scored 8 times in the 13th inning to win.
For much of the second half of the season the 4 WL playoff spots looked to be going to Amsterdam, Barcelona, Zurich and Milan. Things got interesting in late August as Glasgow went on a 14-5 run to pull into the race. Later in August (and into September), Barcelona lost 11 games in a row and Brussels won 16 of 19 and the race came down to the last day. The Iguanas lost 7-5 to London in their final game to miss out.
Copenhagen won on the last day to clinch their division and Hamburg lost the same day to miss out on the final Wildcard spot.

Player Notes -

Max Sabin (Milan) won the WL Hitter of the Month for June trophy before his injury. Callum Maxwell (Stockholm) won the EL award.
Jesus Ruiz
(Brussels) and Bart Taft (Oslo) won the June pitching awards. They also both won the same awards in August.
'Pop' Annoni (Athens) hit a 10th inning Grand Slam in a 6-0 win against Budapest.
The July awards went to -

WL Hitter: Claudio Lwenholm (Amsterdam) - .382/7/20
EL Hitter: Thomas Meinert (Copenhagen) - .402/10/34
WL Pitcher: Joseph Bell (Glasgow) - 4-1/0.77
EL Pitcher: Jeirgif Izvekov (Budapest) - 5-0/1.29

Paulo Simon (Athens) hit for the cycle against Berlin on 29th August and was subsequently named the EL's Hitter of the Month. London's Eskil 'Mr Reliable' Junge won the WL award.
Antonio Rodriguez (Madrid) threw a no-hitter against Paris on 5th September in a 6-0 win. Two days later his team-mate, Milos Vostatkova, hit 3 homers in a 7-6 loss to Zurich. He only had 5 home runs before that game.

Significant Injuries -

Sabin as mentioned previously.
Holly Connich (Warsaw) was hitting .372 with 12 home runs before missing 2 months with a fractured ankle.
Timon Panayi (Berlin) missed 8 weeks with a broken arm. He was hitting .277 with 10 home runs at the time.
Milan's Nenad Jevtic missed 6 weeks with a strained ligament in his pitching elbow. His record stood at 8-7 with an ERA of 2.33.
Aetos Zikos (Berlin) is going to be out for nearly a year with a tricep injury. His ERA of 2.81, was not necessarily reflected in his 12-13 record. He was a probable squad member for Greece in the European Championship.
