Agree in principle, if not in detail. And if I am barred from the Yankees thread for saying so, I trust that I can rely upon your services to rectify that situation. Chamberlain seems to be playing a potentially deadly serious game with Youkilis for some reason or another, and it should not be tolerated. I am a lifelong Yankees fan, but not to the rabid point of some who would find an excuse for such behavior just because he is a Yankee.

"Manny being Manny" has worn thin with me, and I live 250 miles away from where he primarily does his thing! But if you folks continue to tolerate him for his batting contributions, when his head is on straight, that's fine with me; it's not like a gambling or steroids thing after all. It's just that I go back to a time when players put their teammates ahead of themselves, even if they were the stars of the team.
