Events - June 1 to June 30, 1920

June 1 - The first game of the Negro National League is played. The Chicago Defenders are already in too tight a position to defect but they do get a culture bonus.

June 4 - The Polish - Soviet War ramps up as the Polish Army takes Kiev. Suspended from baseball duties are 2B Lev Jivulin, reserve SP Hedeon Ayatskov, reserve 2B Philip Vladislavsky, and SP Joseph Vranitsky (who was already shelved for the season with a ruptured bicep).

June 8 - Joan of Arc is canonized. +1 culture to the Paris Revolutions!

June 10 - Alvaro Obregon's forces invade Mexico City. Some Mexico City Aztecs who are loyal to the current government, never to return. President Venustiano Carranza is killed after he flees to San Antonio Tlaxcalantongo and Adolfo de la Huerta takes command of Mexico and the Aztecs.

June 21 - The US Postal Service rules that children may not be sent by parcel post. This has no bearing on the game but I thought I would share.

June 26 - Greece attacks Turkish troops in the Greco-Turkish War. The following Greek players are suspended until the cessation of conflict:

SP Demetrius Antonatos
SP Arsenio Melonakos
SP Evander Moscopolis
CL Xenos Glezos
C Agape Lalagos

SS Timeus Rachiotis
