Notes -
The Stockholm Lumberjacks were the surprise of the first few weeks, getting off to a 10-3 start. They have reverted to normal behaviour since.
Paris also made a good start, winning 19 games in April, whereas London could only manage 7 wins.
Budapest played 3 games of 16 innings or longer in the first 5 weeks of the season, losing all 3. One of them broke the record for the longest game in EBL history - a 7-5 loss to Athens in 21 innings. The game lasted 11 minutes shy of 6 hours and three different players had 0/8 days.
Entering the 9th down 2-1 to the Zurich Jesters, the Brussels Hitmen proceeded to score 6 runs. Unfortunately they also managed to allow 5 runs in the bottom of the 9th and went on to lose 9-7 in 11 innings.
London scored 11 runs in an inning on April 12th to beat Lisbon 17-3.
Amsterdam piled up 16 runs in the first 3 innings of a 19-0 win against London on April 30th.
An odd thing happened on May 23rd, when of the 12 games played, 9 of them had one of the teams scoring exactly 3 runs.
Sofia only managed 7 wins in the whole of May, they have actually had a decent June, but are too far back now.
The new record for longest ever EBL game lasted just over a month. On June 8th Vienna and Barcelona played a gamed that went to 22 innings, lasting 7 hours and 18 minutes and finishing after 2am. The teams combined for 41 hits and 45 men left on base as Vienna won 10-7. The Armageddon's Lorenzo Boldrini was glad the game finally finished, as he failed to get a hit in 10 at-bats.
Vienna are 13-5 so far in June to overtake the Milan Mud Cats.
The reigning champions, Dublin, are struggling slightly on the offensive end. They had a key injury (see below) and outside of their top 3, the rest of the lineup are underperforming.
Player Notes -

Another rookie to make an impact was 1985's #1 draft pick
Pasqualino Terragni who made his EBL debut for Lisbon on June 1st and threw 8 innings of 5 hit ball against Paris.
Significant Injuries -
Hamburg's
