Notes -

Oslo are still in contention despite losing 14 in a row in April/May. Zurich only won 7 games in April and haven't really recovered.
Dublin scored 10 runs in the 7th inning on their way to a 19-2 win over the London Crocs.
The longest game so far this season has been 17 innings. London beat Paris 4-2 on April 19th and also Copenhagen won 3-2 against Budapest in June over the same distance.
Stockholm had an 8-21 record in May.
Prague won 15 in a row to put themselves right in the race for the Black Sea division.
Glasgow are 14-4 so far in June to pull away.

Player Notes -

Kaspar Ahlmann (Berlin) threw a no-hitter on April 21st in a 4-0 win over Warsaw. Later in the season another Berlin pitcher threw a no-hitter against Warsaw - Francis Maze, struck out 6 and walked only 1 in a 1-0 win on May 28th.
Manuel Helfrich (Lisbon) was 5/5 with 7 RBI in a 11-3 win over Dublin on April 27th.
Former Hitter of the Year, Max Sabin, has signed a contract extension to keep him in Vienna. He will get $4.7M per year for another 4 seasons.
Two Frenchmen were the Hitters of the Month for April. Philippe Martin (Milan) and Jacquy Gilbert (Sofia) both added to their multiple lifetime HoM awards. Gilbert's team-mate, Archie 'No Comment' Dalziel won the EL's Pitcher of the Month award for April. His WL counterpart was Klement Follerup of Vienna.
Leo Dalin, who went from Warsaw to Barcelona in the Volker Ziesemer trade, hit for the cycle on May 14th.
Lisbon's Javier Hernandez was 5/6 with 2 doubles, 2 homers and 7 RBI in his team's 16-5 win over Amsterdam on May 16th.
Gunnar Rippner (Berlin) hit 10 homers in May to take the EL Hitter of the Month Award. Ota Hospodar (Lisbon) won the WL version. The Pitchers of the Month were Stuart Seaward (Dublin) and Jesus Ruiz (Warsaw).
Rookie Johnny O'Howen (Zurich) was 6/6 on June 14th against Amsterdam.

Significant Injuries -

Constantino Deodato (Glasgow) missed the first 2 months with a groin injury.
Berlin's Theo Aarstad, who hit 32 homers in 1988, is out for the season with a rib injury suffered on April 10th.
Steve Moynan (Moscow) will miss all of June with an MCL injury. He is 5-2 with a 2.03 ERA.
