1991 Preview
March 31st 1991 - Not wanting to stand still the two-time reigning champion Berlin Dragons have made a couple of minor trades ready for the new season. They have traded away Demetrio Morbidelli and Dale Conway to Dublin and Oslo respectively. In the Dublin trade they did manage to pick up Casey Ferrell, who will certainly help their push for a third consecutive title.
The biggest name in free agency was former Madrid Hawk, Daniel Keurost. The Austrian third baseman has signed a 5 year, $21.8M deal with the Athens Avalanche.
The next largest contract went to C Simon Warmisch, who has joined Keurost's old team for $24.9M over 7 years. Other notable free-agent moves were Ota Hospodar joining Paris and Patrick Lacroix moving to Hamburg.
Experts are predicting a similar line-up in the 1991 playoffs as there was in the 1990 version.
