European Qualifier (Amsterdam, Netherlands)
Participants: England, France, Germany, Ireland, Netherlands, Scotland
What’s on the line: Top 3 qualify for World Cup, #4 and #5 advance to Inter-Continental Qualifier
What to Watch For: Germany and England are the favorites to advance, but no team is head and shoulders above the rest. Watch out for The Netherlands, who have a deep lineup but are weak on the mound. Ireland could surprise, especially given the injury to Scotland’s top player (*Leon Finlater). France seems to be the weakest of the group and would be happy earning a spot in the Inter-Continental qualifier.
