although I do agree that division record should probably not be used for breaking ties in the WC race.
I think the following would be better:
1st tie-breaker, Head-to-Head Record
2nd tie-breaker, Conference Record
3rd tie-breaker, Most Individual Wins
4th tie-breaker, Fewest Individual Losses
