Inter-Continental Qualifier (Havana, Cuba)
Participants: Dominican Republic, France, Ireland, Japan, Mexico, Venezuela
What’s on the line: Top 2 qualify for World Cup
What to Watch For: There's no team that really stands out in this qualifier. Japan has a solid lineup but has probably the weakest pitching of the group. Both Ireland and Dominican Republic came into their respective qualifiers expecting to make the World Cup, and both feel they can still do that. France and Mexico are both surprising entries into this qualifier. Venezuela has a large lack of depth but is on the right track.
