Paris Revolutions

Overview

Following our extravagant first League of Nations title, all we have to say is... uohohohho! Uohohohoho! And also, uohohohohoho! Perhaps even we were doubtful after a below .500 June left our club at 41 wins against 38 losses. But as we say about le Tour de France, it is not something that can be won in a single day. From July 1 on, we lapped the tired riders of the European League to the tune of a 66-26 mark including the playoffs. Speaking of the postseason, in it all eyes were on the beaucomp bats, but the defense was the Arc du Triomphe of October.

Retirements
-------------
1B Anthony Guillemot - Only played sparingly in 1919 and retired after a year in reserve.

Pitching

Joel Lemoine was named the greatest pitcher in zee history of zee European League for 1920, which says about all we wanted to say about this pitching staff. Zee naysayers, they say that so much of our pitching staff it is made of the non-French, but that just goes to show how many people love the France!

Batting

The only reason the French did not produce the MVP last year is that there were too many qualified candidates to split the French vote. Jean-Pascal Dumoulin, Moise Gros, Sebastien Guilbert, Didier Bernard, and Herve Fischer all received MVP votes, but of course you cannot combine them all into one the way that Austria could combine all their love for their only good player Viet Aehrenthal. Sacre bleu! It is just as well. Vienna needs something to root for. They cannot, after all, celebrate winning more games than losing them, or winning the Great War. Did we just say that?
