September 25th 1992 - A number of tight battles this season.

Notes -

Prague won 10 in a row to move into serious contention. They will have a one-game playoff with Athens to decide the division winner and therefore the playoff match-ups.
Berlin looked to have the Baltic division sewn up but lost 14 of 15 to let the other teams back in.
Stockholm and Moscow both scored 10 runs ina n inning on July 11th.
Lisbon won 12 in a row to clinch the division title. At the same time Helsinki lost 10 in a row to lose any chance they had of the playoffs.
Dublin, Glasgow and Paris all won on the last day to cement their positions and secure their playoff berths.

Player Notes -

Arnaud Gros (Paris) doubled his season total with a three home run game on July 8th.
Twelve different winners of the monthly awards. The hitters were - Raul Marroquin (Dublin), Salmund Jaerbyn (Vienna), Gilbert Wamelink (Glasgow), Gage McMahan (Athens), Vilfred Krak (Warsaw) and Foppe Valckenburgh (Budapest), who hit .407 with 16 homers in August. The pitchers were - Pasqualino Terragni (Lisbon), Alexander Schimpf (Paris), Bohdan Leibovic (Lisbon), Jesus Ruiz (Warsaw), Ben McAuliffe (Budapest) and Jens Fetterlein (Copenhagen).
Christer Laundsen (Barcelona) had back to back 2 homer games in July.
Tobias Handeland (Athens) threw a no-hitter against Copenhagen, he did give up a run though thanks to 6 walks.
Patrick Lacriox (Hamburg) and Lukas Happ (Milan) both passed the 2000 hit mark.
Tahvo Ahonen (Madrid) was one hit batter away from a perfect game against Zurich on August 7th.
Jesus Ortiz (Budapest) had a 3 homer game against Warsaw on August 11th.
Fabio Quinhones (Madrid) had 8 RBI in a 13-0 win over Milan on August 12th.
Artemis Vlakhou (Oslo) was 5/5 with 3 doubles, 2 homers and 7 RBI against Budapest on August 20th.
Malcolm Kennedy (Dublin) threw 3 shutouts in a row late in the season.

Significant Injuries -

Tommy 'Fish' Woestenberg (Sofia) missed the last month of the season with an eye injury. He should be fit for the upcoming Euro Championships.
Vilhelm Hjelmslev (Sofia) also missed a large part of the end of the season.
