EXAMPLE: The San Diego Padres have just placed SP Harry McBean on the waiver wire. You have three days to issue a claim.

I would like to not have to check the waiver wire EVERY day to see if there is someone I'm interested in; a message in my inbox whenever someone hits the wire would be great.
PRIORITY:
Low (even though I think it would be REALLY helpful)

How about making a filter for your emails about the waiver wire, or for stopping the sim when that player hits the waiver wire? We can do a filter for pretty much everything else, why not this? The game will either message you and stop a sim if a) the player name shows up on waivers b) any player with certain ratings criteria or statistical criteria are waived.

Gibson swings, and a fly ball to deep right field! This is gonna be a home run! Unbelievable! A home run for Gibson! And the Dodgers have won the game, 5 to 4; I don't believe what I just saw! I don't believe what I just saw!
