Suggestion:
Give team totals occasionally during the game: end of the third, sixth, ninth and every third inning in extra innings, 12th, 15th, 18th, etc.
Example:
We have played three innings so far.
Totals for the Yankees: 4 runs on 4 hits, no errors and 3 men left on base.
Boston has 2 runs, 3 hits, 1 error and 1 runner left on base.
At the end of the sixth, the Red Sox lead the Yankees 7-4.
Boston has 7 runs, 9 hits, 1 error and has left 5 men on base.
while New York has chalked up 4 runs, 6 hits, no errors and have stranded 5 baserunners.
After nine inning of play Boston and New York have played to a 7-7 tie.
The Red Sox have 7 runs, 11 hits, 1 error and have stranded 6 baserunners.
The Yankees totals are 7 runs, 10 hits, 1 error and they have left 7 on base.
We now go to extra innings.
Reason:
It is often done in a broadcast.
Priority:
Low (but it would be nice to have)
