I don't know what has prompted this. While the draft itself has not gone well so far, I don't see a great outcry for Scot (SAL) to step down as commissioner.
From what I see, this draft has been an experiment in the sense that it is quite different than what was used for 5 seasons in the original UTBA. Being that members of the league are scattered across different time-zones, it seems to me that not picking from a posted list of draftees with a 12-hour time limit per pick is not working. Whether it be confusion of the rules, computer issues, or no/limited access to the TBCB 2.5 database, there are too many variables out there to be overseen by 1 person. Even with 3 of us monitoring the Draft thread, it still has become a major infringement on real-life.
I don't know what changes are in store when the "dictatorship" takes place in option #2, but I support anything that Scot chooses.
On the other hand, if Scot chooses to step aside, I am willing to take over the league (for better or worse). I cannot guarrantee that things will run as smoothly if Scot chooses hand it over. I just want to make this clear - I do not want Scot to step down and I AM NOT looking to take over the league - just simply stating that if for whatever reason Scot feels that he is fed up or cannot set aside the time due to work/family commitments, I will volunteer to keep the UTBA-II alive.
